I've been writing stories since fifth grade and at age fifty finally put my first book Fried Chicken and Gravy out there. Some might call this long journey an example of perseverance; those familiar with my family would call it good old Schoenborn stubbornness.
I have a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Idaho. I fell in love with the rolling hills of the Palouse, while living in Moscow, Idaho, in the eighties. The Palouse is the setting for Sticky Notes.
My husband, Dave, and I live in Vancouver, Washington. We're down to one teen at home with us, two and a half cats, and a dopey dog. I say "half" cat because our neighbor stole "Bob" from us, and now Bob only comes home half the time. But... other than this, our neighbor is easy to love.
And, so is our cat.
Besides writing and fishing, my hobbies include golf, coaching javelin, and collecting recipes.
(Please note that there is no mention of housework.)
I was blessed to have three grandmothers
who all loved Jesus,
and were determined that I know and love Him, too.
I will be eternally grateful.
I pray you know His love.
1 John 3:16:
This is how we know what love is:
Jesus Christ laid down His life for us.
- NIV translation.
I'd love to hear from you.
